Hugh Lochore:

Hugh brings deep agricultural and equestrian roots from Scotland, where he helped develop a beloved family event, Burgie Horse Trials . He rode up to 4* star level and started his working career with building XC courses. Hugh co-founded, with his brother Alec, Musketeer Event Management and was instrumental in the company’s early years of growth. He has had a 25+ year career as a top level FEI course designer showcasing his expertise across the world and has featured as an FEI official at a number of global championships.

On moving to the US in 2006 Hugh diversified into real estate, launching a 24-unit residential development in Tallahassee. For the past 12 years he has focused on developing and managing a premier equestrian facility in Georgia, overseeing 30+ equestrian events, OCR’s and as many as 30 film productions annually. Hugh is also a co-founding partner in FEI Stabling, servicing equestrian events across the nation with the highest quality temporary stabling available. You may also recognize his voice on the Eventing circuit as a highly sought after announcer.

Hugh’s personable approach and passion for land, forestry, and equestrian sports, combined with extensive experience in land management and facility development, positions him to create Georgia's next leading equestrian destination. Hugh aims to establish a thriving business that creates jobs, meets community needs, and delivers long-term capital appreciation.
